Thank you for registering for the Canadian Global Growth Forum (the "Forum" or "CGGF"), hosted by the Canadian Venture Capital and Private Equity Association ("CVCA"). Regardless of whether your registration is submitted by you or your proxy, the following Terms and Conditions ("Forum Terms") apply to you and your participation in the Forum. "Attendee" for purposes of these Forum Terms will include all participants at the Forum, including sponsors, partners, and attendees. By participating in this Forum, you agree to these Forum Terms so please read them carefully. If you have any questions, please contact membership@cvca.ca.
These Terms include and incorporate CVCA's Privacy Policy. Please refer to these privacy policies for more information about the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information.
This Forum is organized by the CVCA, which reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to limit or deny access to any entity or individual to the Forum.
By completing a CGGF registration, you consent to receive communications from the CVCA in respect of Forum information, events and activities. You further consent to receive and send personal messages and/or video call invitations.
There is no refund for canceling your registration to the Forum. Substitutions are permitted.
For Substitutions: The Forum is invitation-only and attendance is limited to one representative per firm, company, or organization. If you are unable to attend the Forum, you may send a colleague from the same firm, company, or organization in your place. Substitutions may be made on or before Friday, September 11, 2026, with written confirmation from the person registered, and are subject to CVCA approval. Note: If you are a CVCA member and your replacement is a non-member, the difference in fees must be paid.
Only persons authorized by CVCA may make audio/video recordings at the Forum. Third party recordings are prohibited.
You grant the CVCA, its representatives, employees, contractors, and agents (collectively, "Authorized Persons"), the right (without obligation) to record audio and video and take photographs in the course of the Forum, which may include recordings of you ("Recording"). You grant the Authorized Persons the worldwide, perpetual right (without obligation) to make, record, edit, adapt, use, sell, and publish the Recordings, including your name, image, likeness, appearance, and voice, for any purpose. You hereby assign to CVCA all right, title, and interest you may have (if any) in and to the Recording, and you hereby waive all moral rights therein, automatically upon creation of the Recording.
Important security notice: Please be aware that there has been a persistent scam affecting numerous events and organizations across the world for over decades, falsely claiming to possess attendee lists for events and/or memberships, which may include the CGGF. We want to clarify that these claims are part of a fraudulent scheme. Should you receive any such solicitations, we urge you to report them immediately to the Canadian Spam Reporting Centre at spam@fightspam.gc.ca. Additionally, please mark these emails as spam in your email service. The CVCA prioritizes the security and privacy of our members and attendees, and we are committed to taking proactive measures against such deceptive practices, as further detailed in our privacy policies.
CVCA believes in equality for all. As such, we are committed to creating event environments that are diverse, inclusive, safe, and free from discrimination, regardless of race, religion, color, national origin, sexual orientation, gender expression or identity, age, disability, marital status, or any other classification protected by law.
We ask that all attendees, speakers, partners, sponsors and other guests of the Forum behave respectfully. Harassment, discrimination, bullying, and other unacceptable behaviour will not be tolerated. If you are asked to stop or modify your behaviour in accordance with these principles, you are expected to do so immediately and respectfully.
If you have a complaint or concern about harassment, discrimination, bullying or any other conduct, we encourage you to tell event staff or security personnel immediately. You may request that your report remain confidential.
EXCEPT WHERE SUCH EXCLUSIONS ARE PROHIBITED BY LAW, UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE WILL THE CVCA, OR THEIR RESPECTIVE PARENT, SUBSIDIARIES, AFFILIATES OR THEIR RESPECTIVE DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, SERVICE PROVIDERS, CONTRACTORS, LICENSORS, LICENSEES, SUPPLIERS, OR SUCCESSORS BE LIABLE FOR NEGLIGENCE, GROSS NEGLIGENCE, NEGLIGENT MISREPRESENTATION, FUNDAMENTAL BREACH, DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, UNDER ANY LEGAL THEORY, INCLUDING ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, PERSONAL INJURY, PAIN AND SUFFERING, EMOTIONAL DISTRESS, LOSS OF REVENUE, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF BUSINESS OR ANTICIPATED SAVINGS, LOSS OF USE, LOSS OF GOODWILL, LOSS OF DATA, AND WHETHER CAUSED BY TORT, BREACH OF CONTRACT, BREACH OF PRIVACY, OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF THE PARTY WAS ALLEGEDLY ADVISED OR HAD REASON TO KNOW, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR ATTENDANCE AT THE FORUM.
WITHOUT LIMITING THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE CVCA'S AND AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THIS AGREEMENT, WHETHER ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO BREACH OF CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), OR OTHERWISE, EXCEED CAD $100.00.
THE FOREGOING LIMITATIONS SHALL APPLY EVEN IF YOUR REMEDIES UNDER THIS AGREEMENT FAIL OF THEIR ESSENTIAL PURPOSE.
The Canadian Global Growth Forum is convened by the Canadian Venture Capital & Private Equity Association (CVCA), the national body for Canada's private capital industry. CVCA represents the fund managers across private equity and venture capital, the pension and institutional investors, and the limited partners active in the market, and it manages no capital of its own. It convenes the Forum on behalf of the entire membership.
